The World Is Still Here

The World Is Still Here

Stories don’t rush you

One of the things I love most about reading is that stories wait. They don’t mind if you pause halfway through a chapter. They don’t mind how much Time passes between reading times. You don’t need to arrive prepared. You don’t need to remember every detail. A good story waits, exactly as it is, until you’re ready to step back in. Tellus does too.

There’s no right pace for reading

Some readers move quickly, book to book. Others take their time. Some step away, then return later, perhaps starting again from the beginning.
All of those ways of reading are welcome here.
Stories aren’t something to complete. They’re somewhere you go for a while. Some nights that means reading for longer than you planned. Other times it’s only a few pages before you put the book down again.

Nothing has moved on without you

If it’s been a while since you last visited Tellus, nothing has really moved on without you.
The cities are still there. The machines still hum. The characters are still where you left them. Other stories are taking shape in the world too, with Aura next.
If this is your first time here, welcome. There’s no need to rush. The story can unfold at its own pace. Firestone is a good place to begin.

Returning is always enough

Some stories are loud and insistent. Tellus isn’t one of them.
This is a world you return to when it feels right. When you want somewhere to wander for a while. If you want atmosphere, curiosity, and the sense that there’s more happening just beyond the page, then Tellus might just be what you need. Whenever you come back, the story will be here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to read the books in order?

There is a loose reading order to the Lore of Tellus books. It starts with Firestone, then continues through Orbis and Tempus, with Aura taking shape next.
Some readers like to begin at the start and follow the story as it unfolds. Others pick a book and see where it takes them. Both approaches work.
If you’re not sure where to begin, many people start with Firestone and let the rest follow in time. There’s no need to read everything quickly. The story doesn’t ask for that.

What if I stop reading partway through a book?

That’s fine.
Stories aren’t tests. It’s normal to pause and put a book down, then come back to it later. When you choose to return is up to you, the story will still be there, exactly as you left it.

Is Tellus suitable for readers who like slower, immersive stories?

Yes.
Tellus is written to be spent time with. Atmosphere and character matter as much as plot. There’s time and space to read at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What if it’s been a long time since I last read fantasy?

That isn’t a problem.
There’s no need to be up to date with the genre, or to remember how everything works. Tellus is built to welcome readers who enjoy thoughtful worlds, whether fantasy is something you read often or only now and then.

Where should I begin if I’m new?

Start wherever feels comfortable. Many readers begin with Firestone, but there’s no pressure to read everything at once. Let curiosity guide you.
